Darian panels range from four tile paintings, to murals for lobbies of major commercial spaces. Typical motifs include elaborate, flowing but stylized configurations which can include peacocks, deer, plants, flowers and fish. Motifs call forth the Armenian tradition, with Arman’s eye, feel and artistry. Arman Darian is also well known for Judaica panels, which include Jerusalem, the tomb of Rachel, historic scenes of Jewish life, and portraits and scenes depicting the history of Israel. The color palette is wide, including cobalt blue, black, turquoise, shades of green, sunflower yellow, and browns. Arman is known for various versions of the tree of life. Most panels are custom made for residential or commercial spaces.
